Good Bye


Good bye to the ridicule,
Scorn and the lies,
Good bye to the ones,
Who have hate in their eyes.


Good bye just to those,
who used me as their way,
to save face and to hide,
Their cruel hearts in array.


My dignity stands
Above your heartless, cold blows,
I feel sorry for you,
with your lives full of woes.


Good bye to the desperate ones,
Who need someone to blame,
For their true colors show,
In their bitter cold game.


I stand a bit wiser,
From these ones full of hate,
To them I did nothing,
Nor them did I berate.


Good bye and good luck,
with your bitter cold lives,
I now know who not to trust,
As my dignity thrives.


Never or ever,
In my life have I seen
Such cold hearted people,
As bitter, cruel and mean.


If this makes you feel better,
Surely the kind ones now know,
You thrive on hurting others,
As your trueness now shows.


I will now leave you,
With my clean, clear heart,
Knowing that in "your" kind of ways,
I will "never" take part.
